Industries / Food processing
Food processing effluent treatment. ETPs for bakeries, biscuits, snacks, sauces and processed foods.

What makes food processing effluent difficult
High BOD and COD
Starches, sugars and product losses make the effluent strong but biodegradable.
Oils and fats
Frying and dough lines release oil that must come out before biology.
Batch-wise flow
Production runs and wash-downs create peaks the plant must absorb.
What you get

- Clarifiers and MGF + ACF filters supplied by us
- Installation supervision by our engineers
- Commissioning by our engineers, guaranteed to work at the agreed design flow and load
- Board queries answered by us: any pollution control board question about our design or equipment
Questions
Can treated water be reused in the factory?
Yes, for gardening, flushing, cooling tower make-up and floor washing, after tertiary filtration. Reuse in direct food contact needs further treatment.
Our ETP smells and the sludge settles badly. Can you fix it?
Usually. Odour and poor settling usually come from an overloaded or poorly designed plant. We audit the plant and correct the cause.
